We matched and went on our first date… clearly efficient and clearly meant to be.

Our first date was over coffee at Mokas Coffee & Eatery. Colt asked for Jordyn's number and a second date.

We made it official (Instagram optional, feelings mandatory).

After a few months dating and a few work events, we decided to take the leap an make it official.

Colt had a plan to officially ask Jordyn to be his girlfriend but Jordyn wasn't patient enough and she said "So am I your girlfriend now or what?"

Families met and survived — success all around.

Before we celebrated our first Christmas together, we decided it was time to meet and introduce each other to our families.

Both introductions took place at each other parent's homes, eating and watching a KC Chiefs game.

Took our first vacation together, made memories and still wanted to come home together.

We talked for months about planning a little get away just two of us. We decided to rent a cabin in Smithville, OK. Nice little road trip, visiting three states and a few days of relaxation.

We both felt that during this trip, that was when we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

One of us asked, the other said YES! and grabbed the ring out of the box (with our dogs proudly included in the proposal).

Arriving home after a nice date night at Pumphouse and a show at the Mosely Street Melodrama, Colt tried to wrangle Lucy and Honey before getting down on one knee.

Colt said, "Will you marry me?" Jordyn's first response was "Is that how you are going to ask me?"

Colt's Version:

While trying to keep Lucy and Honey in the room,. Jordyn took the ring out of the box before saying yes. Asked again for clarification. Jordyn said yes.

Jordyn's Version:

As Colt was dealing with Lucy and Honey, Jordyn stated, "you aren't going to include my name or anything?" Colt then asked again and Jordyn said enthusiastically "well, yeah!"

Shared Ending:

As Jordyn was taking the ring out of the box, she asked, "Are you supposed to put the ring on my finger?" Before Colt could respond, it was on Jordyn's finger.

We say “I Do” and start our forever.

After 14 months of planning, we are excited for this day to be here!
